The Zaishen Order grew from the centuries of ships-crew and passengers that wrecked on the treacherous shoals of what is now known as the Battle Islands.
Forced to create a new cohesive society from the disparate cultures represented by the various ships, the people of the island revitalized their faith in Balthazar, God of War, as a foundation stone.

From this Society of War the Zaishen Order blossomed. Development of battle skills, medicine and magic both spiritual and necromatic became the underpinning of the people of these Battle Isles.
Decades passed, and eventually stronger ships discovered these islands. The visitors were welcomed and trained, and the Isles have become the center of Balthazar's faith.
